We’re excited to announce that Valley Plains Equipment will attend the 2025 SkillsUSA TECHSPO. At this event, we will proudly showcase the VPE TechKnowledge diesel program. This program prepares future certified John Deere technicians for rewarding careers. The event takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, during the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC). It is one of the largest and most important career and technical education events in the nation.

“My time at Lake Area in the DTBH Program has been amazing. Marc, Andy, and Cole are great instructors who are always willing to help point you in the right direction. They also question your thinking so you become more confident in your work. They’re always open to learning new things alongside us. The curriculum constantly adapts as industry needs evolve. Job sheets in the lab challenge you to think critically without being overwhelming—same with the homework. Internships were where I learned the most. Working alongside technicians in the shop helped me connect classroom knowledge to real-world problems. This program is great, and I can’t recommend it enough.”
