Supporting Skilled Trades and Recruiting at SkillsUSA
Valley Plains Equipment is excited to support skilled trades students next week at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC). During this national event, thousands of students from across the country gather to compete, learn, and explore career paths in technical industries—including agriculture, diesel technology, and equipment service.
Throughout the event, our recruiting team will be connecting with students, and answering questions about careers at a John Deere dealership. Additionally, we’ll be sharing what it’s like to live and work in North Dakota, South Dakota, or Minnesota and the benefits of working at Valley Plains Equipment. These students are the future of our industry—and we want to help them succeed in a meaningful, hands-on career.
TECHSPO: Hands-On Learning & Connection
As part of the conference, we’re also proud to participate in TECHSPO, the high-energy trade show focused on innovation and workforce development across all skilled trades. At TechSpo, students will see live tool demonstrations, meet employers like Valley Plains, and learn how advancing technology is transforming the ag equipment industry. For many, it’s their first opportunity to connect directly with real-world professionals and explore careers beyond the classroom.
