VPE Students Gearing Up for Final Techknowledge Diesel Camp!

The final TechKnowledge One Day Diesel Camp of the summer is set for Wednesday, July 23 at Lake Area Technical College (LATC) in Watertown, South Dakota.
At this event, students gain hands-on experience working with diesel, hydraulics, and precision ag tools while exploring careers in diesel mechanics.
During the camp, students will:
- Gain hands-on experience with real John Deere diesel equipment.
- Rotate through stations on hydraulics, diesel engines, and GPS mapping.
- Work directly with LATC instructors and Valley Plains team members.
- Learn about the TechKnowledge Program, a 100% tuition-free career path.
Students will work with diesel engine diagnostics and electrical systems. They will also map terrain with GPS technology in a John Deere UTV Gator.
