On June 4, 2025, Lake Area Technical College (LATC) and the TechKnowledge (TK) Program hosted the LATC-TK Orientation Day. The event welcomed new students entering agriculture and diesel technology programs. Valley Plains Equipment played a key role in supporting the event.
During the orientation, Valley Plains Equipment staff attended to engage with students. They provided information about careers in agriculture and diesel technology. Additionally, representatives from Valley Plains answered student questions about the John Deere dealership network. Moreover, they offered insight into opportunities within the industry.
The orientation included campus tours, program overviews, and equipment demonstrations. Valley Plains Equipment showcased John Deere machinery and precision agriculture tools. This allowed students to see the equipment they will train on and eventually work with.
