Account Managers are responsible for networking with each farmer to build a report, and to learn how to best advise them on future purchases. We now have multiple generations farming with each one having different interests when selecting equipment. Account managers will learn all about their farms, equipment, crops, and goals to assess their needs. A candidate in this role will want to be good at reading people, be able to organize and manage information for each farm, and wealth of knowledge about John Deere’s equipment. Working as an Account Manager you will be able to witness firsthand what it is like to support your fellow man and their farm.

Our regional sales managers at Valley Plains Equipment work to build a strong sales team across multiple locations. They develop annual training, set sales goals, and work one-on-one with account managers to develop their sales region.
